The sneaker game is ever upping its ante and this collaborative collection fits right in and skate shoe Godfathers and hardcore punks give high tops new sole.
The latest Converse collaboration has been unveiled today with the Converse x Trash Talk CONS Pro Leather Skate Collection. This is the first time the brand have teamed up with the West Coast hardcore band and now Converse ambassadors.
Informed by Trash Talk’s “No Peace” LP and their stark take on public disruption, Converse CONS Pro Leather are the perfect functional skateboarding shoe with a California punk attitude that could only originate from infamous Sacramento.
“We’re excited about this project and are glad to be doing something truly original with Converse,†says Trash Talk. “When we were designing the Converse CONS Pro Leather Skate we set out to create a sneaker that we would want to wear, our take on a classic.”
This inimitably raw attitude has been conveyed through the medium of a finely crafted leather high top that doesn’t give up its punk roots. A leather upper with suede heel cap meet a vertical leather heel strip running from back of the heel to Achilles. Durable lunarlon sock liners are inscribed with “Trash” and “Talk” left and right respectively, announcing your presence with every step.
These shoes are for the purist, the collector and the music fan. Shop the Converse x Trash Talk CONS Pro Leather Skate over at Converse.com. The sneakers are available in white and black, prices start at $90 USD.
